City of Trinidad

Trinidad, Colorado, in Las Animas County, was a stop on our last vacation. Near the supermarket where we stocked up was this train.

The locomotive is the last coal fired steam engine used on the Colorado and Southern RR.

Cosmetically restored, it's a fine representative of the trains used in the early 20th Century.
